The Laudato Si’ Institute of Granada participated in an International Conference in Rome

The conference titled “Radical Ecological Conversion After Laudato Si’: Discovering the Intrinsic Value of all Creatures, Human and Non-Human” was held in the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, March 7-8th of 2018. It was sponsored by the Embassies of Georgia, Germany and the Netherlands to the Holy See and counted with the collaboration of the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Joint Diploma in Integral Ecology offered by the Pontifical Universities of Rome.

The conference brought together priests, religious, scientists, activists, politicians and professors, among others, to explore the implications for the academic world, the Church and our society of the teachings of Laudato Si’ about the intrinsic value of all creatures and the need to rethink our human society in order to respect them and the entire order of Creation.

Through academic presentations and dialogues, the conference identified ways in which the Church can, together with other organizations, promote the transformation of the lives of individuals, communities and nations.

Here you can find some of the most important documents and discourses from the conference.
